IV Health provides an effective way to absorb high levels of essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids unachievable through supplements or diets.
What to Expect
If it is your first time with us, you will first have a consultation with one of our IV Nurses and doctor. In this consultation we discuss your symptoms and goals of treatment. From there we recommend vitamins that can support you goals. Alternatively you can select from our comprehensive range of IV infusions already designed. A doctor will also check in to discuss the treatment with you ensuring proper care.
After your consultation your IV Nurse will pack the bag full of the nutrients you have decided on. They will then sanitise and prepare the area for cannulation. While cannulating the vein, you will feel a pin prick sensation, similar to a blood test. Once the infusion is running, most people report feeling nothing but coldness in the area (we can combat this with a heat pack for your comfort).
Then it’s time to sit back and relax! You can work, drink tea, or even have a nap during your infusion. Most 500ml infusions will take 20-40 minutes and most 1L infusions will take 40-60 minutes. Some of our infusions, such as NAD+ will take a lot longer!
After your infusion is all dripped out, your IV nurse will carefully remove it and you will be replenished ready to take on the day! You should be able to go back to any of your usual activities post infusion.

We are all exposed to toxins, stress factors and free radicals in everyday life from our lifestyle and environment. Be it air pollution, poor diet, stress at work, excessive alcohol consumption, lack of sleep and even over-exercising.
Over time, these toxins and free radicals build up in your body and start to take their toll on your immune system. Symptoms that may present as a result of this are; low energy, fatigue, poor concentration, poor sleep, low mood, frequent cold/flu, allergies, gut issues and inflammation.
IV vitamins (especially the super antioxidant) may help reduce these symptoms and the effect of toxins and free radicals by swiftly removing them from the bloodstream to be excreted by the body.

THE FAQS
Need more Information?
Vitamins, minerals and amino acids are administered directly into a vein as an infusion, prescribed by a doctor and administered by a registered nurse.
Injecting vitamins, minerals and nutrients directly into your bloodstream, means they get delivered directly to your cells where they can do their job as co-factors for a wide variety of cellular processes immediately.
We are all exposed to toxins, stress factors and free radicals in everyday life from our lifestyle and environment.

IV vitamins (especially the super antioxidants ie. Vitamin C and Glutathione) may help reduce these symptoms and the effect of toxins and free radicals by swiftly removing them from the blood stream to be excreted by the body.
IV fluids may be used to treat dehydration where a doctor assesses it as clinically appropriate.
Intravenous vitamin infusions, like the name suggests, are given as an intravenous fluid directly into the vein, and like all procedures / treatments, they carry risks for certain people.
Before your initial infusion, an extensive medical history is taken and you will be assessed by our Doctor to determine if this treatment is suitable for you. All potential risks and side effects, even though minimal, will also be discussed in this initial consultation.
Your vitamin infusion “script” following your initial consultation with the Doctor will last 6 months, meaning you only need to see the Doctor once every 6 months to review your treatment plan. Visits during the 6 months will be for your infusion or booster shots only.
An IV vitamin infusion can take as little as 30mins and up to 80mins depending on the type of infusion.
An IM vitamin booster takes less than 1 minute to administer.
Every treatment plan is different and customised to you. There are no set rules for the number of infusions you can have, this will be determined by the Doctor during your initial consultation and then discussed with you to work out the best treatment plan for you based on your symptoms, lifestyle and budget.
