IV Health’s IV Infusions

IV Health offers intravenous (IV) infusions and intramuscular (IM) booster injections.

The following infusions have been created by our medical staff based on commonly seen symptoms  however, we can also customise each drip to fit your individual needs.

Intravenous vitamin therapy is a powerful route of administration and absorption as the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants are infused directly into the bloodstream through a vein, and are transported straight to your cells where they can do their job as co-factors for a wide variety of cellular processes immediately.

Our IV Infusions

All new patients undergo a thorough medical consultation prior to their infusion to determine the nutrients best suited to your needs. As a result we may add or remove certain nutrients from the infusions if necessary. Please note  infusion prices may vary because of this.

 Nutrients

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA)

A supercharged antioxidant that is active in both water and fat (where most other vitamins are only water soluble). ALA is an essential component in the production of cellular energy and is able to recycle vitamin C and glutathione after they have been used up, making them last longer in our body.

B12

B12 “methylcobalamin” plays a key role in nerve function and the formation of red blood cells. B12 Deficiency can lead to anaemia, fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, pale skin, issues with the GI tract, numbness, depression, muscle weakness, vision loss and memory loss.

Vitamin B12 also plays an important role in the breakdown or metabolism of fats and carbohydrates and has a role in protein synthesis, which makes it a vital element in weight management.

B Complex

Made up of these six vitamins — B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 — b complex plays an important role in keeping our bodies running like well-oiled machines. These essential nutrients help convert our food into fuel, allowing us to stay energised throughout the day.  While many of these vitamins work in tandem, each has its own specific benefits — from promoting healthy skin and hair to preventing memory loss or migraines.

Glutathione

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that is involved in many processes in the body, including tissue building and repair, assisting our bodies own detox process and strengthening our immune system. Glutathione is a substance produced naturally by the liver and due to its anti oxidant nature, it reduces oxidative stress and has anti ageing properties. Glutathion can also be used to decrease production of melanin which is responsible for providing the colour to your skin thus it can be effective in gentle skin brightening.

Magnesium

A mineral that’s crucial to the body’s function. Magnesium helps keep blood pressure normal, bones strong, and the heart rhythm steady. Adults who consume less than the recommended amount of magnesium are more likely to have elevated inflammation markers. Inflammation, in turn, has been associated with major health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.

Selenium

This is a trace mineral that plays a key role in the metabolism and has antioxidant properties. Antioxidants protect cells from damage. Among healthy people, selenium deficiencies are uncommon. But some health conditions — such as HIV, Crohn’s disease, and others are associated with low selenium levels.

Trace Elements

These are made up of minerals the body requires in trace amounts. Comprised of zinc, selenium, copper and manganese.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is one of the most important water soluble vitamins for your body! Vitamin C is commonly used in our intravenous vitamin infusions both as an antioxidant and to boost the immune system. As an immune booster, vitamin C reduces inflammation and promotes healing. As an immune booster it removes free radicals, reduces oxidative stress, promotes collagen production and energy release.

Zinc

Zinc is a trace mineral that is an essential component of over 300 enzymes in the body and therefore contributes to many important functions in the body including energy production and immune system support.
