About Vitamin Therapy
IV Health provides vitamins, minerals and amino acids by infusion.
What to Expect
During your initial visit to IVHealth, you will undergo a consultation with one of our skilled IV Nurses and a doctor. This consultation allows us to understand your symptoms and treatment goals. Based on this discussion, we may recommend vitamins that align with your objectives. Alternatively, you can choose from our range of pre-designed IV infusions.
Our doctors will also ensure that you receive proper care by discussing the treatment with you. Following the consultation, your IV Nurse will prepare your customised bag of nutrients according to the discussion had with our health professional. They will then sanitise the area and prepare it for the insertion of the cannula. The sensation experienced during cannulation is similar to a pinprick, akin to a blood test.
Once the infusion begins, most individuals report feeling only a sensation of coldness in the area, which can be alleviated with a heat pack for added comfort. Now it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy your infusion experience. You can continue working, enjoy a cup of tea, or even take a nap during the IV infusion. Typically, a 500ml infusion takes approximately 20-40 minutes, while a 1L infusion may take 40-60 minutes.
Please note that certain infusions, like NAD+, may have longer durations. Once the infusion is complete, you will be well hydrated and you should be able to resume your regular activities without any concerns.

Intravenous vitamin therapy delivers vitamins, minerals and amino acids into your bloodstream.
Injecting vitamins, minerals and nutrients directly into your bloodstream, means they get delivered directly to your cells where they can do their job as co-factors for a wide variety of cellular processes immediately We determine what’s suitable for you through an initial consultation with our registered health providers.
We provide a range of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Vitamin C forms the base of our infusions, and you can add other vitamins such as B-group vitamins, zinc and magnesium. We also offer amino acids such as taurine, CoQ10 and L-carnitine. To find out the full range, please organise a call or a consultation with our healthcare professionals.
IV vitamin infusions involve directly administering vitamin-rich fluids into your body. Prior to your initial infusion, our health professional in the form of a nurse and/or doctor will conduct a thorough assessment of your medical history to determine if this treatment is suitable for you and what treatment you will likely receive. This will provide you with a “vitamin infusion script” which is valid for six months.
The duration of an IV vitamin infusion can vary, typically ranging from as little as 30 minutes to up to 90 minutes, depending on the specific type of infusion. Our dedicated team will ensure that the infusion is administered efficiently and comfortably, allowing you to relax and experience the benefits of the treatment.
In contrast, an IM vitamin booster takes less than 10 minute to administer. This quick and efficient process ensures that you receive the necessary boost of nutrients promptly.
The frequency of infusions is determined by your unique treatment plan, customized specifically for you. There are no fixed guidelines for the number of infusions you can receive. During your initial consultation with the doctor, a thorough assessment will be conducted to evaluate your symptoms, lifestyle, and budget. Based on this assessment, the doctor will discuss and determine the optimal treatment plan, ensuring it aligns with your individual needs and preferences.
IVHealth is predominantly an in clinic service however if organised appropriately we can come to you for VIP and group bookings at your home, workplace or hotel. If you have any questions around this, just send through an enquiry to our contact form.
