About Vitamin Therapy
IV Health provides an effective way to absorb high levels of essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
What to Expect
During your initial visit to IVHealth, you will undergo a consultation with one of our skilled IV Nurses and a doctor. This consultation allows us to understand your symptoms and treatment goals. Based on this discussion, we may recommend vitamins that align with your objectives. Alternatively, you can choose from our range of pre-designed IV infusions.
Our doctors will also ensure that you receive proper care by discussing the treatment with you. Following the consultation, your IV Nurse will prepare your customised bag of nutrients according to the discussion had with our health professional. They will then sanitise the area and prepare it for the insertion of the cannula. The sensation experienced during cannulation is similar to a pinprick, akin to a blood test.
Once the infusion begins, most individuals report feeling only a sensation of coldness in the area, which can be alleviated with a heat pack for added comfort. Now it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy your infusion experience. You can continue working, enjoy a cup of tea, or even take a nap during the IV infusion. Typically, a 500ml infusion takes approximately 20-40 minutes, while a 1L infusion may take 40-60 minutes.
Please note that certain infusions, like NAD+, may have longer durations. Once the infusion is complete, you will be well hydrated and you should be able to resume your regular activities without any concerns.

Why intravenous Vitamin Therapy?
Absorption: IV administration allows for direct delivery of vitamins into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. This can result in higher absorption rates compared to oral ingestion, which may be affected by factors such as gastrointestinal health, metabolism, and the presence of other substances.
Concentration and Dosage: IV vitamin therapy allows for higher concentrations of nutrients to be administered compared to what can be achieved orally. This can be beneficial for individuals with specific deficiencies or those who require higher doses for therapeutic purposes.
Rapid Effect: IV administration provides immediate availability of nutrients in the bloodstream, allowing for faster effects. This can be advantageous in situations where quick replenishment or support is needed, such as in cases of dehydration or acute nutrient deficiencies.
Medical Supervision: IV vitamin therapy is typically administered under the supervision of healthcare professionals, ensuring appropriate dosage, monitoring for any adverse reactions, and tailoring the treatment to the individual’s needs. This level of oversight may provide added safety and precision compared to self-administration of oral supplements.
Bypasses the gastrointestinal system making it readily available.

Our vitamins, minerals and amino acids that we provide can support your body with the effects of toxins and free radicals thus helping reduce these symptoms and the effect of toxins and free radicals by swiftly removing them from the bloodstream to be excreted by the body.
It’s has also been shown that, due to soil depletion, crops grown today are not nearly as nutrient rich as they once were. And if the soil is nutrient poor, our food may be nutrient poor which means we need to eat a much larger volume of fruit and vegetables to come close to the amount of nutrients required to optimally fuel our bodies!
An example of this is seen in a study which showed the vitamin A content of 1 orange in the 1950’s is the equivalent to the amount in 21 oranges from today… that’s crazy!
